Woman Who Loves to F*** Denied Vanity Plate
Fine, she loves tofu, but I’m sure she loves to f*** too! A Denver woman’s vegetarian love inspired an idea for a vanity plated deemed X-rated by state officials. Kelly Coffman-Lee wanted to express her fondness for bean curd by choosing particular letters for her SUV’s license plate. Her desire for the plate: “ILVTOFU” was blocked by the Division of Motor Vehicles because they thought the combination of letters could be interpreted as profanity.
Apparently, officials meet periodically to ensure state plates stay free of letters that abbreviate gang slang, drug terms or obscene phrases. Coffman-Lee says tofu is mission critical to her family’s diet because they are vegan and that the DMV simply misinterpreted her message. Personally, I don’t think it’s any of the state’s business to dictate what someone’s license plate should or should not say (freedom of speech much, USA?). If anything, ILVTOFU is certainly a lot easier to remember than some random combo of letters and numbers (you know, just in case she pulls a hit and run or something).

I heard about this one on the radio this morning. It’s too bad they won’t give that slut her plates. They wouldn’t give me my plates here in NJ either EYEPOO2MUCH. I was refering to the fact that I watch too much winnie the pooh on t.v. The idiots at DMV didn’t see it that way.
